I have worked for 30 plus years with children and families regarding multiple issues many of which involve significant trauma. I am also a certified personal trainer and have a black belt in karate. I believe in a holistic, mind-body approach to wellness. People describe me as compassionate, warm and outgoing with a relaxed style. My experience also includes crisis work in a hospital setting. Whatever your concerns are, we can collaboratively explore your inner strengths and outside supports as a means to find a more peaceful solution.

My practice is client centered, focusing on assistance with goal setting and developing strategies together to help clients meet their individual goals. I work with individuals, couples and families assisting them in making changes that will promote their growth and satisfaction. In addition, I have been working with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss, anxiety and depression. Some of these issues are related to the pandemic, some of these issues have resurfaced due to the recent changes in our world.

Connecting with the versions of ourselves we want to be is challenging: anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, stress, relationship issues, and myriad internal and external/systemic factors make it difficult to “show up” in the ways we would like. My goal as a clinician is to help you get in touch with and connect to the version of yourself most aligned with your values, while you learn how to effectively and consistently navigate the challenges along the way.

Transparency, humor, and compassion are all parts of my therapeutic style, and collaborating with clients during times of struggle, contemplation or transition is what I enjoy most. I am a white, heterosexual, cisgender therapist based in the Framingham area, and I am committed to acknowledging the ways that systemic oppression impacts individuals and groups, and to having open and honest conversations with my clients as well as supporting their healing.
