I see psychotherapy as a way to more fully empower and express one’s self in the world, whether as a child, teen, or adult, and, in the process, heal the various “symptoms” that stand in the way. It’s my belief and experience that that sense of self is, by nature, strong, clear, and caring, and yet can become problematic, in feelings and behavior, through the difficult experiences that life can bring. I see my role as helping to bring forth the experience of this successful and caring self, and, specifically to assist the client to heal the problematic traumas, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors, that interfere with this.

I welcome you to taking the first step to supporting your individual/couple/family mental/emotional needs. It is a huge step and I am here to support you in your therapeutic process. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have extensive training, and experience working with adults, and couples on a broad range of issues particularly trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family conflict. In addition to providing therapy, I also lead and organize couples retreats/workshops, therapist retreats (trainings), and Wellness Retreats.

Whether you are seeking help with a major transition or ways to manage the problems of every day life, choosing the right therapist is a very important decision. My counseling style is very welcoming and non-judgmental. I provide therapeutic mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. The services provided cover a wide range of topics from depression and anxiety to child rearing to marriage counseling. Each client receives support in a caring environment. The focus of therapy is on enhancing strengths and promoting a vision of wellness while learning skills to improve life satisfaction.

I am unable to accept new clients at this time. Relationships may be difficult to say the least. Sometimes we feel blindsided by life's twists and turns. We all struggle at times to feel understood or with self doubt, while searching for solutions to overwhelming problems. Whether you are an individual or couple troubled by a present, past or current event, taking that first step, towards talking to someone who may be able to help sort things out, may be one of the most difficult things you do. I would like to make it a little easier.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Child Mental Health Specialist in Washington State. I counsel people ages two to hundred in aspects of their lives from creating a strong parent/infant bond to adolescent struggles to saying goodbye at life's end. I see individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families.

I am passionate about being present with individuals as they experience disappointment, pain, despair, and joy in life and relationships. Sometimes, we need help navigating. I believe together we will discover the power and insight already within you. We undergo a process of examining your inner life, dreams, fantasies, and imagination to discover the inspiration that will allow you to live an authentic life. Learning tools to reduce anxiety, depression and PTSD due to trauma. Additionally, I am familiar with the challenges of military families and first responders. The unique cultural challenges of these groups and how therapy can help normalize and reduce mental distress for families and individuals.
