Hi, I'm an early career therapist who specializes in neurodivergent folks and those who love them! Neurodivergence comes with unique challenges, but also some awesome strengths. I help those with ADHD and ASD learn to swim with the current, and stop swimming against it. I also help spouses, parents, and siblings of neurodivergent people improve communication and strengthen those relationships. I use several therapy methods to help create a cohesive relationship where everyone feels respected and heard. I'm looking for people who are struggling with neurodivergence and want to realign themselves in a positive way!

The definition of Metanoia means the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life. I am here to guide my clients on this journey that can be challenging, as well as rewarding. Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end (Robin Sharma). I believe that changing the way we think in a positive way and sprinkled with humor, creates resiliency. I believe this process is a Biblical one, found in Romans 12:2...but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

My genuine compassion and honest, straight-forward approach will be there to guide you in your counseling journey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in TX and NM with over 18 of experience in the mental health field. I am also a Certified Professional Life and Wellness Coach and trained EMDR therapist. Prior to my mental health experience, taught first grade and later worked in the High School setting which allowed me to assist with multiple family dynamics, adolescent struggles and crisis interventions within the school setting. I later worked in the hospital assisting multiple clinics along with the acute behavioral health department and most recently worked with Combat Veterans to assist with PTSD and transitioning to civilian lifestyle.
