Finding answers to many of life's problems is difficult. I have found that for some, it is difficult because they are asking the wrong questions. Answering the question, "Why?" can be helpful, sometimes in figuring out how a troubling situation occurred. Why something happens, however, does not always give a clear direction towards solving a problem. "How?" something happened and "What?" can be done to promote positive change can be much more useful in resolving an otherwise troubling situation.

My experience includes working closely with professionals, including law enforcement and CPS, to provide justice and healing to children and teens who have experienced abuse. I am truly passionate about counseling children, adolescents, and teenagers to help them find their voice and empower them to take charge of their own healing. Along with teens and children, I have extensive experience working with couples and families.
