As a LAMFT my goal is to help couples who are struggling; and to help couples find enjoyment in the blessings of marriage. I currently work with individuals, couples, & families who are struggling with trying to repair damaged relationships, improve communication & affection; and make sense of past trauma. Through my work as a priest, I have been blessed to have helped many individuals & couples have happier, healthier relationships. I possess a great understanding of the difficulties and challenges the queer community faces and as a result this has catalyzed my desire to want to become a mental health counselor and provide support to the community. I utilized both an Integrative Therapy approach with my clients, based on what is best for my client's to meet their individual needs and well as CBT/Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I am certified in CBT and Trauma Focused- CBT. Look to gain an improved overall sense of well-being, elimination of troubled symptoms, and less difficulty talking about and dealing with emotions.

I have over 14 years of experience working with children and families. I have worked as a community based social worker, guidance counselor, behavior specialist and mental health therapist. During the week, I work as a mental health therapist in the school setting. Therefore, I am well versed in the challenges today's children are facing. I bring all of the experience and knowledge from these roles into my sessions with my clients. My go to therapy is Cognitive Behavior Therapy but I use a variety of other therapies depending on needs. My experience is working with children aged 3-21, however, my area of speciality is age 10-15.

With over 30 years of combined experience, Dr. Angelone and Dr. Zane have been working together in various capacities since 2005. With our staff of seven clinicians who largely adhere to a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) perspective, we can provide rapid symptom relief while developing strategies for long-term change. We also maintain continuous training on the latest strategies and integrate them into our treatment.

Alyssa is certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Adoption Therapy. Alyssa has experience with helping adults, children, couples and families in addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, trauma, abuse, adjustment difficulties, behavioral needs, and family dynamics.

Jane has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to starting in the mental health field 6 years ago, Jane spent 27 years working in long term care and ran grief and loss and caregiver support groups. Jane also has experience working with the special needs population and has an adult son with Autism so she has personal experience advocating for this population and an understanding of the challenges faced by this population and their families.

In the most simplistic manner, life has a tendency to produce uncertain situations that divert our attention and challenges those of us with the best of intentions. Often times, as adults with professional careers, families, and home commitments, we are left contemplating (or second guessing) our role and purpose in life. Too often, individuals are left with the aching pit in their stomach, the feelings of rejection, and the fear of the unknown; however, despite such feelings, we press on because cognitively, our thinking has been programmed to fight through the nuances of life.

I enjoy working with individuals seeking to find their voice as well as work through their experiences. I believe it is important for me to create a safe, judgment-free space for people to share their story. People should be able to process anything that may be impacting them or their relationships such as life transitions or trauma. My ideal client is someone willing to show up for themselves, everyone deserves a space to be heard. I have worked in non-profit for a few years and have experience with most topics.

The goal of therapy is not only to resolve a conflict or find an answer but to make a connection. I believe that the client drives the car of therapy while the therapist is in the passenger seat ensuring the ride is comfortable, the music is right and hazards or incomplete bridges are avoided. The brain and body should be aligned; therapy does just that. There does not always need to be a problem to go to therapy, the same way a car can use an oil change or detail before a long drive. It is hard to deal with emotional issues on your own, but more difficult to address and face them in therapy or even ask for help.

I'm Dinelle Polchinski and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in NJ. I am trained in individual, couples, and structural family therapy. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, severe and persistent mental illness, grief and trauma focused therapy. While my style can be described as eclectic, my sessions with individuals are primarily person-centered, interpersonal and supportive. I incorporate techniques from Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, mindfulness and self-compassion. I am trained in grief support, trauma therapy and I'm a certified ADHD professional.
