As a family systems therapist, I view clients from the perspective of their holistic environment. Together we will look at where you are coming from, and where you want to go. I work with clients between 13-80 experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, marital conflict, family conflict, major life adjustments, adolescent issues, parenting issues, men’s issues, and more. I also work with couples and families to improve communication, process trauma, and enhance relationships. There is a soft spot in my heart for teens, young families, couples, men, and those who grieve.

I specialize in counseling for children (ages 2-12) addressing mental health concerns related to anger, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, disruptive behaviors and interpersonal conflicts with others. I also specialize in counseling for parents and caregivers addressing concerns related to parenting, behavior management, and strained family relationships.

I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. I currently reside in Wisconsin with my husband, two year old daughter and very energetic husky. I am a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I have worked with a wide variety of clientele in both group and individual settings, covering a wide variety of issues.

We understand that beginning therapy can be anxiety-provoking. We work to create a safe place for you to explore your emotions. Our therapeutic style is nonjudgmental, dynamic, and caring. Our goal for you to feel understood and empowered each time you walk out of our door. We have worked intensely with children, and adults for over 4 years. We conduct individual, family and group therapy sessions. We provide therapy for children and adult victims of abuse, teens and adults in the criminal justice system, individuals, and families in intensive in-home therapy.

Hearing from the heart and seeking help with paralyzing personal challenges can be a daunting experience. Finding someone to connect with in the process of personal healing is half the battle to a solution. Keeping the person at the center of the therapeutic process is a goal for me.
