We all go through difficult times at different parts of our life. It can help to have someone to talk to. I have particular experience with adults in midlife crisis, couples counseling, and adolescents experiencing, school problems, behavior problems, parent/child conflict, and trauma. I have experience with individual therapy, parent/child conflict, divorce, alternative relationships and LGBTQIA issues. I specialize in trauma treatment for all age groups. Life is a journey and oftentimes along our journey we go through difficult life transitions that can feel impossible to overcome. We may go through feelings of being stuck in the same emotional states, unhealthy relationships or communication patterns that leave us feeling empty and yearning for change. When our lives begin feeling this way, finding a positive support can be crucial in navigating these changes we need to feel better.

I work with individuals and couples in a collaborative manner. I am very engaging during the sessions, and seek those who are genuinely interested in learning new ways to think and see the world.

I look forward to working with clients whose life path may have created difficulties for them that has led them not be the best of who they can be. Each individual's path may have been sprinkled with physical or emotional abuse, neglect, assault, grief and loss, domestic violence, marital or parental discord or a myriad of other situations. Sometimes these life paths create in my clients a feeling of hopeless and loss of self-worth, sometimes these path end with someone needing to determine a plan to leave an unsafe living situation. Sometimes these paths lead to turning to substances and illegal drugs to cope with the internal turmoil and pain. It is my privlege to work with clients to help them identify and bring forth the best of who they are and what they want for their life, their family and their future through their own individual strengths.

For the past 35 years, I have truly enjoyed helping individuals who really want to get well and are willing to work hard to achieve full recovery.
