I utilize a systemic approach that views the interconnectedness of individuals within their larger family, relationships, and social contexts. I am a versatile therapist and am passionate about working with couples, families, parent-child subsystems, siblings, children, young adults, and adults. My approach is client-led and I place importance on the therapeutic environment. I strive to provide an environment that is nonjudgmental, empowering, compassionate, explorative, and enjoyable.

My experience includes work with families, children, adolescents, and adults from a variety of cultural and familial backgrounds. Blended families, families in conflict, couples in any stage from pre-marital to divorcing, and individuals longing to be heard are just a few of the populations with which I enjoy working. I join my clients through the challenges and transitions life presents, in a collaborative manner and without judgement. It is through humor, compassion, and setting attainable goals with my clients that I work.

I work with couples or adult individuals seeking help and encouragement as they navigate their relationships. We can often find ourselves struggling to feel understood by each other. Issues around communicating needs, conflict in their partnership, parenting, intercultural relationships, dynamics within family of origin or in-laws, work/life balance and couples that identify as LGBTQIA+ are all areas I'm familiar working with. I invite clients to create and practice new tools to better understand one another and emerge out bickering and into a collaboration.

I have over twenty years experience providing counseling to adolescents, couples, families and individuals. I have extensive experience working with victims of sexual abuse and trauma. I have helped numerous individuals overcome sexual behavior problems including pornography addictions. I am an empathetic mediator for issues including familial conflict, divorce, custody disputes, and parent/child Alienation is one area of expertise. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, past trauma and current crisis. Client's describe me as a therapist who genuinely cares, listens and validates their experience while helping them move past the thoughts, behaviors and feelings that are negatively impacting their lives.

I partner with clients to nurture healing, growth, and resiliency. In every instance, I will take time to ascertain how to evoke my clients’ strengths, helping them effectively mobilize their own capabilities. In this way, every person I work with ends up with practiced skill sets of their own to take with them after therapy has concluded.

As a Marriage and Family Intern, I do not have an "ideal" client at this time. I am excited about working with individuals, couples, and family structures within sessions and assessing a wide array of needs and creating goals alongside them. I have special interest in couples therapy and am extremely passionate about healthy romantic relationships.

I believe in a holistic approach where we consider the individual not as a set of symptoms, but as a whole, complex, capable human being. I'm passionate about working with neurodivergents, nerds, geeks, gamers, oddballs, and anyone who feels like they're on the outside looking in. I strive to provide practical skills that can help individuals gain the confidence they need to accomplish their goals and live life in accordance to their values.

Now accepting new clients and supervisees! I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and co-founder of Wise Womxn Wellness, a wellness collaborative passionate about empowering women of all ages & in all seasons of life. With experience as a birth doula, I also have a special interest in working with individuals and couples as they journey through reproductive matters- whether that be deciding whether and how to have children, struggling to have children, raising children, losing children, or deciding not to have children at all. I believe in the power of the mind-body connection and exploring ways to support & heal both.
