Child, Teen, & Family Therapist! I believe in treating the whole family to support growth and effective change. My experience has allowed me a variety of settings (outpatient, agency based, partial and inpatient hospitals, school systems) which have enhanced my skill set to support treating a spectrum of needs. I appreciate working with a young person and their support system from a place of mutual understanding. I am not afraid of a challenge but I think it's helpful to have a starting place of willingness. I do find it important to go at a client's pace, including their voice & choice in what treatment may look like.

I am a Social Worker (LICSW) who earned my Master’s in Social Work at the University of New England. I work primarily with adolescents, young adults and families, all of whom are impacted in one way or another by anxiety, depression, family conflict, school issues, grief and trauma. I have worked in home, community and outpatient settings.

I am an experienced psychotherapist who uses a strength based approach providing individual, couples and family therapy. I primarily work with men's issues, couples, trauma and addictions utilizing a variety of approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Family Systems, and Mindfulness Meditation. My style is active, reflective and solution focused.

In addition , issues women frequently face, depression, anxiety, work/life balance, and parenting are an area of special interest. I have been working with individuals and families for over 20 years. My eclectic approach includes CBT, DBT and reprocessing such as EMDR. We are not the sum of our issues. We have strengths and resiliencies allowing us to become aware of patterns and ways of coping that have served us in the past but may not be effective in the present. In collaborating, we identify needs and goals. Through appropriate therapeutic modalities we gain clarity, begin to shift behavior and create new outcomes.
