I am passionate about mental health and am grateful I have worked in this field over the last 14 years. As a Marriage and Family therapist for 5 years, I have found my calling working with professional helpers such as first responders, veterans, and military service members. I have a specific interest and expertise in working with professional helpers who have a hard time accepting or asking for help themselves. I have gotten to know the struggles of the professional helpers and their loved ones that I have had the honor to work with.

Hello! My name is Alex and I'm a licensed clinical social worker. I enjoy working with people that are going through life transitions, are struggling with identity, and those that are feeling stuck. I have extensive experience working with children and families impacted by chronic illness and/or grief due to loss of a loved one (including pets). I also have expertise in working with people who identify as being in a marginalized group as well.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have been practicing in the field for 10+ years. I received my Master of Counseling Psychology degree from Louisiana State University where I began my work in the mental health field. I have worked with teens, young adults, and adults struggling with many different mental health needs that have affected their ability to feel in control of their own world.

As your therapist, I want to help with difficulties managing relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, or even difficult family dynamics. I provide a totally supportive environment for you to heal when needed. My focus with you will be on finding the solutions that you want to explore to resolve conflict.

Prior to private practice, I worked with families involved in the child welfare system who have experienced abuse, neglect, addiction, sexual trauma and community violence.
