My greatest reward as a counselor is helping my clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgmental environment and safe place to explore the issues throughout the counseling journey. I use a variety of approaches for individual or group counseling to help my clients, depending on individual needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I aim to help couples overcome infidelity, addiction, trauma, emotional distance, intimacy issues, communication issues, & lost connection. I also provide relational counseling to resolve conflicts in other significant relationships such as parent/adult child, friends, etc. My services also include individual therapy for people dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, body image disorders, etc. In addition to working with a diverse population, my lived experience of being a South Asian immigrant allows me to connect with those with multicultural issues, adjustment issues, immigration-related stress, and/or family conflicts.

I know that making the decision to come to therapy is a difficult one and I work to provide a safe and neutral environment within the therapy office for clients to share vulnerabilities, and take the desired steps toward change. I begin each client relationship with a comprehensive assessment to thoroughly understand the challenges, and will work collaboratively in setting goals to provide measurable structure to the process.

My main priority is to help clients feel comfortable, safe, and accepted while working towards our collaborative goals. I strive to utilize evidence-based therapies and interventions to support the best outcomes for my clients. My specialties include relational concerns, trauma, and gender-affirming care. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate: phases of life, communication difficulties, attachment injuries, and various traumas. I am the best fit for a family who has children between the ages from birth to 24 years old. I offer support to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors from their children and adolescents in home or at school. I offer a unique systemic approach that includes parents in the treatment process that is not found in many other practices. This systemic approach is extremely affective and helps keep parents in the loop and helps families complete the treatment goal faster than other approaches. As I believe therapy for children should be brief and solution focused so they can get back to being a kid.
