With over 20 years in the mental health field working with families and children Yolanda is available for psychotherapy, addiction assessments, mental health services, parent assessments, child custody consulting, child protection case consulting, personality disorders, trauma, child and adolescent therapy, anxiety, depression, marital counseling, co-parenting, personal growth support and family dynamics.

I work with individuals across the life span who are struggling with a wide array of difficulties. From adults dealing with anxiety and depression, to kids and teens struggling with low self esteem and experiences of trauma, I partner with clients on their individual path to healing and wholeness. I am passionate about creating an inclusive space for all, and connecting with clients in a way that allows for an authentic and meaningful relationship.

Roxie Powell is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MFT-A) who works within a humanistic-experiential perspective. Roxie enjoys working with a broad spectrum of clients including children ages 5+, adolescents, individual adults, couples, and families. Roxie is passionate about relational counseling and uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as her primary approach to working with couples and families to transform their communication style. She utilizes an attachment-based lens and believes that healing relational trauma is essential for lasting connection. This is supported by research in the field of attachment science.

My focus is in providing clients an opportunity to create better connection with themselves and those around them. I work with both couples and individuals, taking part in their journey by providing a new perspective, asking the hard questions, and helping people understand the habitual patterns they get stuck in. My role is collaborative as we discuss sensitive topics that are hard to explore outside of therapy such as sex, gender, communication, addiction, intimacy and trauma. I am currently accepting new clients with little to no wait time! I work with individuals, couples and families to develop healthy coping strategies to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms.

I like to work with families, including children of all ages. I also work with individual adults and occasional couples. I also like to work with military families. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and have even tried some of this therapy style with adolescents. I am also trained in perinatal mood disorders.

I am a LMFT Supervisor & a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I work with children (1 year old up), teens, families, combatants, first responders, victims of violent crimes, & others. I treat preverbal or traumatic attachment (kids/teens), complex trauma, anxiety, behavioral issues and other childhood needs. Learning to see from your child's perspective helps caregiver(s) to understand their child/ren and family. My goals are to collaborate with you & your family to restore balance, improve communication, provide neuro-divergent psychoeducation, promote more secure attachments and develop competency.
