My name is Jacqueline Pickens. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to many. I know all to well the feeling of being overwhelmed with trying to do it all. The struggle to be the one to help everyone around you and still manage to keep yourself afloat is not one you have to bear alone. I have been there. I am a licensed therapist who is here to help you find balance in your life and to provide you with a safe space where you can be yourself and learn skills on how to focus on your needs so that you can continue to meet the needs of others without ignoring your own.

Although I work well with clients across the broad spectrum of needs, I prefer working with couples who are experiencing marital, relationship and family difficulties. I also work with clients experiencing domestic violence, grief and PTSD. I come armed with 34 years of experience that allows me to help clients work on the ongoing development of the self including their internal strength; becoming less dependent on others for validation. I also work with an acute focus on intercultural difficulties.
