Since 2005, I’ve been working in the field of counseling and school psychology. My degrees include a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, two Masters, one being in Marriage Family Therapy and the other in Educational Counseling with thousands of hours of work with individuals and families. I’m licensed as a professional counselor.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specializing in the areas of trauma (sexual abuse, physical abuse, maltreatment, PTSD), anxiety, depression, self-esteem & identity, and couples and family work. I have experience working with children ages 3 and up, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. When working with couples I utilize the research and theories of the Gottman Method developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman to facilitate reconnection and strengthen communication. I find it is important to use empathy, respect, compassion, and authenticity to form a genuine, trusting relationship with all my clients.

As Jonathan's focus has been a systems approach to families, he is educated, qualified and committed to working with individuals, couples, and families. His approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths-based. Jonathan values the relationship between client and therapist, and sees it as key to driving growth and change. Jonathan uses his passion for mindfulness and body awareness to facilitate exploration and expression. Jonathan strives to help his clients live a more meaningful, fulfilling life, whether this means conquering internal struggles or facing issues with important people in their lives.
