Welcome! I view therapy as a place of exploration, of understanding, of support and healing. After spending the first half of my life trying to fit in and the second half trying to understand my purpose and meaning, I’ve settled into a very comfortable role as a therapist. I enjoy listening and supporting others’ awareness of what has shaped them, why they behave/feel the way they do, and how to find strength and healing. I believe change is possible.
My approach is down-to-earth and direct. I bring my analytical nature and my emotional nature into the therapeutic process. We may face moments of radical acceptance as well as lighter moments of laughter. Therapy needn’t be an intimidating, intense experience. Instead, it can be a meaningful conversation within the bounds of a safe and supportive space.
I treat depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, compulsive behaviors, personal identity concerns & complex inter-personal relationship issues. I also practice Couple & Family Therapy, having had the good fortune of training 450+ hours in Structural Family Therapy with Dr. Stephen Greenstein, an understudy of Salvador Minuchin.
