I work with 30+ couples who lead busy professional lives and feel disconnected and estranged from each other, which has led to mounting resentment and increasing misunderstandings and bickering in their home. Using emotionally focused therapy, I focus on their attachment history and style in order to identify their attachment wounds. This approach allows us to create a focused plan of treatment where each partner feels safe according to their needs and is able to be vulnerable with one another and communicate their needs in a way that increases the understanding and intimacy they each crave.
