Hi there. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Calm Mind Therapy. I love helping clients become the best versions of themselves. I work with all clients, but I specialize in working with families and adolescents. I know how difficult it can be when a member of your family is struggling. It is my goal to support individuals in the family, as well as the whole family system, to get to a healthier place. I view all my client's through a trauma-informed lens. I take a validating and supportive approach with all my clients — and also love to challenge them to make change.

I applaud and welcome anyone seeking help with therapy and embrace the opportunity in getting to know, witness, and work with you as we join in this process and journey together. I have worked extensively with addiction(s), dual diagnosis, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, women's issues, relationships, codependency, parenting, and life changes.

In-person & In-network. Serenity specializes in mental health and substance use counseling for teens and young adults ages 14-28. We provide personalized intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services with an emphasis on peer support and family involvement. At Serenity, we'll work together to identify what works best for you and provide a serene therapeutic space to connect, get support & make positive changes. Most clients begin in our IOP level of care before stepping down to outpatient. Services Include: Comprehensive Assessments, Individual, Group & Family Therapy, Medication Management, Parent Support, Life-Skills, & more.

I have over 30 years experience as a child and adult psychotherapist and psychiatrist. I practice primarily psychotherapy, addressing a full range of issues from emotional strains, trauma, loss and anxiety to developmental issues including autistic spectrum presentations, and psychosis. I am former Chair of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Training Program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. During this time of COVID and with the myriad of changes in our world, lives become unsettled at home, in our work, in our families and in our personal relationships. I work with children, adults, families, parents and infants.

I have been in clinical practice for 46 years. I specialize in coaching clients to resolve the binding issues in their family of origin that are creating the range of psychological problems in their every day life. I work with individuals, couples and families to increase their potential for happiness. I also do supervision for those therapists who wish to improve their clinical skills. In addition, I do executive coaching, organizational consulting and psychological testing of children.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, bipolar disorder, OCD, ODD, PTSD, and ADHD.
