I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Oregon providing mental health services in Oregon since 2010. I provide in-person and virtual trauma-informed therapy, respecting diversity and multiculturalism. My philosophy and approach towards treatment is person-centered, with the belief that each person has all the answers, and the ability to solve their problems within themselves. I see my role as an assistant in reaching the best solution for each person’s unique situation. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, bilingual in Farsi (Persian), with over thirteen years of experience providing treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. I help people living with depression, self-identity struggles, grief, trauma and have experience working within LGBTQIA+ and ethical non-monogamous communities. The children I see have/are experiencing abuse, behavior concerns, and life stressors. My role as a therapist is to offer authentic and genuine reflections and to help strengthen your mental capacity and confidence to handle internal and external stressors. My practice provides bilingual/bicultural mental health counseling with a focus in working with Latinx adults and teens with a history of trauma. I work with a diverse client base, ranging from children to adult, using evidence-based therapies in person or via telehealth.
