In my work as a counselor I take a practical approach in helping people gain a deeper understanding of their lives, relationships, and sense of self. Art therapy offers you the opportunity to explore and work through what is challenging you a little differently than solely talking about it.

I believe in helping every person toward their potential and strength to achieve a state of holistic wellness. I believe that the most important aspect of a counseling relationship is the human connection. After establishing a mutual, trusting connection with my clients, I utilize an integrative approach, with a Narrative Therapy emphasis. Together, my clients and I work to achieve a unique blend of meaning-making, helping clients to make sense of their story, process what it means in their life today, and choose how to look forward.

I work with clients who experienced childhood trauma, relational trauma, developmental trauma; clients who have been victims of narcissists, clients who experience grief, clients who have PTSD, clients who had pregnancy loss (miscarriage/stillbirth), transgenerational trauma, clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem. I am a certified trauma professional, grief informed. I am polyvagal informed and do inner child work using somatic treatments with various modalities that match my clients' needs. LGBTQA+ friendly. My specialties include helping people who are going through extreme and disorienting experiences, whether prompted externally through their relationships and life circumstances, or through the action of powerful inner forces. I also work well with those who wish to explore and transform the origins of their long-standing emotional blockages. More generally, I work with people from highly traumatized backgrounds, including diffuse and difficult to name traumas such as enmeshment and emotional neglect. Those who believe they may be experiencing spiritual emergency or dissociative symptoms are especially encouraged to get in touch.

Apologies, my practice is full. As humans, we were not designed to move through life alone. I want to be a witness and collaborator in your journey. Each person is innately different and composed of many aspects that create an individual you. For this reason, each therapeutic relationship will function differently. My therapeutic foundation encompasses the fact that the mind and body only work in ways to keep you safe. My integrated style will build upon your internal resources of connection, curiosity, courage, and your own unique spark; from there, your personal path will be illuminated.
