I'm both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Special Education Intervention Specialist. I've been teaching in the K-12 public system for 23 years, which gives me a unique perspective when addressing concerns around behaviors and mental health for families as well as teachers/administrators. By aligning with you and/or your family - not as a director, but as a partner, collaborator and coach - we can work as a team to develop an effective strategy to address issues with behavior, academics, relationships, identity, work stress, professional issues, and family conflicts.

I work with children (ages 3-18) who are experiencing anxiety, depression, academic stress/pressure, friendship concerns, low confidence, anger and strong emotional reactions, concerns related to Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), grief, loss, divorce, and life adjustments. I am particularly skilled at building and maintaining a trusting relationship with adolescents in order to help them feel understood, heard and valued. In addition, I work with emerging adults as they adjust to college, careers, and living independently. Adults that I may see often struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, depression, work/life balance, relationship difficulties, and parenting concerns.

Taking time to nourish our mental, emotional and physical well-being is essential to becoming and being our best selves.
