Hello, I am Betsy Weber and am licensed in the state of Nebraska as an independent mental health practitioner, drug and alcohol counselor as well as a licensed professional counselor (psychotherapist). Most all of us, during our lifetime, find ourselves needing someone else to assist us in working through many of life's challenges. You are the total focus of the time we spend together. Our sessions pertain to your specific needs, concerns and feelings. I have had many years experience as a psychotherapist working with clients of all ages (including children) on issues of anxiety and depression as well as many other facets of life.

I fully understand what it feels like to have all the feelings but no idea what to do with them. I also know what it’s like to “know” what to do and feel unable to make positive changes. Because of this, I firmly believe you are the expert on your own life and my role as the therapist is to support, encourage, and offer a fresh perspective on areas of struggle. Through our collaborative work, my goal is to offer guidance as you learn to embrace what it means for you to experience a fulfilling, authentic life.

I am trained in Child Centered Play Therapy, which is a research based, developmentally appropriate mental health intervention for kids. Child Centered Play Therapy uses play - which is the natural language of children - as a means to allow children to process big feelings, inner experiences, struggles and triumphs. My job is to facilitate this play and establish a safe, therapeutic relationship with the child. This relationship, paired with a safe, consistent play environment, has the potential to decrease problematic behaviors, increase self-esteem, increase positive coping skills and improve overall functioning.

I am Kyle Wockenfuss, a licensed mental health practitioner in the state of Nebraska and I am pleased you are considering taking control of your wellness. I firmly believe we all have the capacity to have a healthy, meaningful, and satisfying life regardless of the challenges we sometimes encounter. For these reasons, among others, I became a professional counselor and educator. I have worked in a variety of placements, including college-counseling centers, inpatient services, and in private practice.

I've spent most of the last decade working with children of all ages and their parents tackling concerns and frustrations related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD, depression and anxiety symptoms. I enjoy helping families better understand each other through increased communication, clear agreements, and understanding each other's love languages and learning styles.

Over the last two decades I have worked with children of all ages as well as their families in navigating life stressors, behavioral, educational concerns and many forms of trauma. I enjoy helping families to better communicate and understand one another as well as to be accepting of individualism and new boundary setting. I specialize in helping adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, tough barriers/challenges to life and in trying to help them navigate through it all.

I see mental health care as essential for every human being. Deb loves helping children, teens, adults and elders to feel competent and successful. With ten years of early childhood development experience she can brings developmental best practice into her strength-base, trauma-informed approach. Clients comment on her honesty and directness.

I also devote much of my time with Child Parent Psychotherapy to create joy within parent and child relationships and building secure attachments.
