I have helped many people struggling with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, psychological trauma, personality problems, and spiritual struggles. In my work with individual clients, I primarily use relational psychodynamic psychotherapy—an effective contemporary therapeutic approach rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition. The term psychodynamic reflects an appreciation for the complexity of the human mind and the fact that there are “dynamics” outside our immediate awareness that impact our emotions.
