I serve women of all ages, specifically if you are struggling with anxiety & stress management. I am passionate about uncovering core fears that are leading to emotional & mental health struggles. I focus on 4 areas of wellness with all clients-emotional, mental, spiritual (when applicable), and relational. I will focus on your goals & intentions for wellness. I will provide you with a safe space to explore your triggers & areas of need. In each session, you will leave with coping skills to help you thrive more in daily life. Though I list my Christian faith in the profile, I work with women of all spiritual beliefs.

Experiencing an emotional or personal issue that is restricting your ability to enjoy life? I help clients work on those things that are getting in the way, such as, problematic emotional, behavioral or relational patterns, stress, and symptoms of depression and anxiety. Life is really hard at times and it can help to have some extra support, especially, if you are feeling alone, isolated or finding that others don't really understand. NOTE: I am now offering tele-therapy over video as an option for therapy.

I specialize in walking with individual's who are struggling with pornography addiction or other forms of unwanted sexual behavior. I also walk with individuals who have experienced the horrors of sexual, physical, emotional or spiritual abuse and the stress that often follows. And I have a heart for journeying with individual's who are grieving and those who are struggling with questions of identity and spirituality.

I've been in practice 25 yrs - with individuals/couples & families -- kids 6+, many teens, college students & adults. I'm shamelessly informal -- no ties or pressed shirts here!. The office is quite unique - - very large, ultra comfy, w/MANY natural oddities... slightly chaotic -- like life! Good strong coffee/tea/soda & munchies always available. Pets welcome. I'm adopted myself, a licensed foster parent, & work with trauma and attachment. I have a multi-cultural family & lived abroad (Africa). I do co-parenting therapy & am also very familiar w/court systems, working with Dr.'s, lawyers, schools and custody issues.

I work with primarily with couples, but also see families and individuals interested in systemic therapy. I work with clients interested in deepening their relationship, particularly in times of stress or entering a new period in their life. My clients are interested in growing their sense of self and their understanding of how they can function best in their romantic and familial relationships.

I approach each client from a place of gratitude and awe. It takes enormous courage to ask for help. That is never lost on me. A key to therapy is building a therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client. The client in the beginning, out of shear bravery, allows me into their journey. As they learn to trust me and open up, we begin to explore their unique nuances, their ups and downs, their pains, their hurts, as well as their successes along their journey. In this exploration together, healing and understanding begins to flourish.

Our most early attachments shape our concepts of self, others, the world, and, without even knowing it, our ways of coping to ensure we stay safe and feel loved. Some coping skills may have successfully kept us safe or given us the illusion of safety, but when continued can manifest as patterns that cause anxiety and depression, and harm our current and future relationships.
