Founder of the Holistic Therapy Institute, Dr. Cynthia Yesko is an intuitive counselor & educator with the privilege of helping clients rework old stress and trauma patterns that can interfere with health and wellness into more updated patterns that help to navigate ordinary stressors and extraordinary challenges. She uses techniques such as music therapy (Dr. Porges' Safe & Sound Protocol), meditation, mindfulness, progressive relaxation, guided imagery, deep breathing, & Reiki to help reset the body’s natural relaxation response. In a regulated, state, solutions tend to present themselves and positive changes are abundant.

We provide a broad range of psychological and diagnostic services to children, adolescents, families and adults. Trained in the assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder, clinical and legal issues related to neuropsychological, emotional and intellectual deficits.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor(CADC) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology(MCP). Much of my training has been centered in client-centered theory and I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition to being traditionally trained, I also incorporate​ a holistic, integrated approach toward psychotherapy which includes aspects of mindfulness and Eastern philosophy, providing individual, family and couples therapy as well as intervention work.

As a clinical psychologist and board certified neurofeedback specialist, I have the expertise and skill set required to assess and improve brain functioning. My assessment services include neuropsychological assessment and quantitative EEG (qEEG) brain mapping, and my treatment services include psychotherapy, neurofeedback and photobiomodulation for a wide variety of issues. (I am no longer accepting psychotherapy clients at this time).

I believe therapy offers a hurting individual the opportunity to talk though, identify, and heal struggles that they are experiencing in the life. By using a person centered approach, I assist individuals, couples, and adolescents to feel whole again. I welcome all cultures, including first responders, frontline workers, and their families. I help clients develop coping skills that meet their individual needs to better understand themselves and the world they live in,

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches with the belief that everyone's uniqueness requires an individualized approach to address his or her specific goals. In providing therapy, my goal is to establish a safe, therapeutic relationship with each client. This relationship will foster each client's ability to find their own resiliency to make the desired changes to enhance their life. I recognize change may be uncomfortable, however it is always possible.

Its very rewarding to watch a client evolve to a point where they live life to the max. Its my privilege to walk alongside and see my client progress and thrive. For more than 18 years I have seen clients with multiple presenting issues, and all age ranges. My therapy style is active and goal oriented, and I believe a client is going to get as much out of therapy as they are willing to put into it. I also use Alternative Techniques to traditional therapy such as Biofeedback and Neurofeedback and this has been immensely helpful for many of my clients who do not benefit from traditional forms of therapy or psychiatric medication.

I treat a broad range of issues among children through adults. I believe it is important to match a treatment approach with each individual's goals, personality, learning style, available supports, and core values. I also have a broad-based understanding of spirituality and contemplative approaches and am comfortable with integrating this into treatment when clients would like and as appropriate.
