We began to think and or act-out in ways which can be self-destructive and non-productive. As a highly skilled and supportive cognitive-behavioral and psychoanalytic therapist, I will assist you with moving beyond traumatic experiences, challenges and un-resolve conflict via personalized evidenced based therapeutic intervention.

I believe that each individual holds the key to their own healing. I am happy to assist anyone on their journey to find their inner strength to achieve this. I use a person-centered approach with each individual that offers a unique space for personal therapeutic growth as well as therapeutic processing.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, binge eating disorder, trauma/PTSD, addiction, women's/men's issues, domestic violence/abuse, and other socioemotional and interpersonal related concerns. Clinically, I work with clients (adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families) primarily through a cognitive-behavioral approach, fostering empathy and authenticity in a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive environment. I also work strongly through a collaborative approach, helping clients gain a deeper understanding into their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions in order to help cultivate positive change.

In working in a number of different settings, Leah has worked with a wide range of ages and diagnoses. The primary focus is adolescents through adults. Concerns that clients may work on, but not limited to, are depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions/adjustments, adoption, mood management, and relationship/communication issues.
