I am Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Coach and Choice Theory Reality Therapy Certified. Since 2009, I have had the honor and privilege to be entrusted with helping a wide range of clients navigate critical life transitions and mental health issues. I work with individuals, couples, teenagers, families, and groups. Special interests include working with interpersonal issues, anxiety, depression, self-harming, grief and loss, spirituality, parenting, stress management, and life transitions.

I believe change is possible even in times of turmoil. I have devoted my career to working with clients looking for new beginnings, responding to trauma, and healing. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), life transitions including death, divorce, unemployment, women and couple's issues, and motivational coaching.

As a parent myself, I enjoy supporting other parents, specifically mom's redefine what life is like postpartum. From hormones to identity, I am here to validate and support you in all of the changes. As these growing pains cause stress in many areas, I support clients in navigating relationships, understanding their needs and make more time for themself. I also am not parenting expert as I am in the trenches with my two toddlers but I am always happy to share knowledge from other parenting experts that I lean on daily.

Maggie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University, specializing in clinical mental health. She has extensive experience in providing therapy to those with trauma, grief and loss, transitional phases, anxiety, mood disorders, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal thoughts, and personality disorders.

From my own personal journey, I have a passion for working with those confronting uncertainties around their sense of identity and how they express themselves. These uncertainties may be from issues related to gender identity and sexuality, difficulties with body image, or feeling lost in the transitional stages of life. I deeply value understanding the unique background of every individual and how the intersectionality of various identities impacts the equally unique nature of everyone's lived experiences. I believe this understanding is the key to developing an effective approach to finding and living as our most authentic selves.

We are living in a world that is forever changing. There is no stop or pause button to help us catch up or even adjust. We are constantly bombarded with various life challenges. Most times when we are in the middle of those challenges we forget to check in with ourselves. We forget to nourish our spirits, minds and body.
