This is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills-based group for those suffering from trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and/or chemical dependency. Counselor Serbia, LPC will guide you in increasing your awareness and ability to let go of thoughts contributing to emotional suffering. Finding Identity through Motherhood
This 8- week in person group is a skills-based group that assists mothers in maintaining boundaries, creating a self-care routine, and coping with symptoms of anxiety and depression through peer support. Whether this is your first child or fourth life after a newborn can be hectic and mothers have struggled with maintaining their sense of self post-partum. The group will be led by Licensed Professional Counselor Kayla Lucas who has experience in working in maternal mental health, lactation support and lived experience.
