I have a strong background in geriatric social work and experience with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. I collaborate with clients to develop goals to meet their specific needs and meet them where they're at, always going at the client's pace.

I primarily work with teens and women across the life span who would like to incorporate their faith in their healing journey. We live in a fallen world, and God does not promise that we will not have trouble through the seasons of life like grief/loss, troubles in our marriage, hardships at work/school, being treated unfairly, etc. However, He does promise to be with us through these storms, and he offers His peace through it all.

As a Latina, I understand the importance of culturally competent therapy, as well as the battles that the Latino community faces in society and stigma towards mental health. Therefore, it is crucial for me to understand your culture and diversity factors to have a better sense of who you are as a person in hopes that together we can explore ways in which I can help you reach your therapy goals. Hello! My name is Kassandra Leber, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of clinical experience working with Individuals, Families, and Minors. I have experience treating various conditions, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, Phobias, PTSD, trauma, Family/Interpersonal Issues, Parenting Related Stress, Gender Dysmorphia, intimacy concerns, and more. I work with various theoretical approaches, including CBT, EMDR, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and strength-based. Welcome! We provide traditional and holistic healing for mind, body & spirit health. We work with individuals, couples, families & groups age 5 and up. The facility is located on a main street with free parking. This is a private practice with a private waiting room in a very comfortable & soothing setting. Look for the yellow house with raspberry trim. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you call, we will do a brief intake, verify your insurance benefits & schedule your first appointment. We do not have a waiting list and can schedule your first appointment within the same week.

Jesse Belle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the Rockford area. She works with a variety of clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents and adults, and has worked as a therapist in child welfare, schools, and as a trauma educator. She takes a nurturing and strength-based approach to treat trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, abuse, foster care and adoption, communication and social skill building, sibling issues, self-esteem issues, and attachment-related issues through uses of trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, play therapy, sand tray, mindfulness, movement, CBT, and evidence-based therapies.

Reaching out for therapy can be scary, especially talking to a complete stranger about what you are going through. I focus on building rapport with my clients and helping them create a safe space to be able to break down their walls and share freely and openly. I have worked in the mental health field for more 20 years following a career as a junior and senior high teacher. I have experience with everyone from very young children to elderly individuals. I believe firmly in the individual's ability to change if they so desire, regardless of education level, socioeconomic status, or past challenges. I approach all people with an open mind and a non-judgmental attitude. Acceptance and kindness are important traits and ones I strive to show each and every person I meet, whether that is within my office or at the grocery store.
