I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker and certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with a history of working in mental health agencies, schools, hospital and private practice settings. Annie holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa and a Registered Play Therapist.

I enjoy helping each client find his or her individual strengths with a holistic approach to counseling focusing on the social, physical, mental, emotional, sexual, and spiritual welfare of each client. I use a person-centered approach where each client and I collaborate to develop a plan to address individual counseling needs in a supportive environment.

I am passionate about helping people deal with ongoing emotional struggles that they just can't seem to get past. Clients that are willing to engage the hard work of personal development by immersing themselves in the therapeutic process are my most rewarding clients with which to work. I am passionate about addressing spiritual issues with clients as well.
