My primary focus in therapy is to establish a trusting, genuine relationship with clients. I strive to support clients with honest feedback and encouragement, along with humor. Using an intersectional feminist approach, we'll focus on strengths to make small, measurable goals for incremental change. Clients willing to read, journal, or listen to podcasts to supplement sessions are also likely to be a good fit.

Since 2006, I've been helping individuals with myriad challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, behavioral challenges, stress reduction, mood stabilization/regulation, crisis intervention, grief and loss, relationship problems, and resolving feelings and experiences from the past. In order to affect deep change, I integrate a number of approaches, including traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Psychotherapy, meditation, EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, guided imagery, health and nutrition advice, to name a few. I am a licensed clinical social worker, founder of Kind Recovery, and one of the first certified psychedelic counselors in Georgia. I've been providing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy since 2019. I work with clients who have experienced mental injury or trauma and find themselves stuck in rigid thought or behavior patterns. These patterns might look like perfectionism, people-pleasing, substance misuse (addiction), anxiety, depression, avoidance, and more. Our agency includes psychiatrists, psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) who collaborate to provide integrative care. As a Community Provider we are approved by the state of Georgia to offer outpatient behavioral health services including Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Behavioral Health Assessments, Treatment Planning, Psychiatric Services and many others.

Brianna Sterling, LCSW is a trauma-informed, holistic therapist who empathetically utilizes a variety of approaches to address your individual, unique needs.
