I believe therapy is essential to understanding how our mental health can improve our everyday life. I take a holistic approach with each client to treat the whole person while using neuroscience to inform my work. I am passionate about building an inclusive and collaborative therapeutic environment to address daily challenges around stress, anxiety, trauma, and/or depressive thoughts. It is also important to address my clients’ identities through an antiracist and multicultural based approach to help create an equal relationship where one feels seen and heard.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology, (Body Psychotherapy) from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I have significant experience working with families, adolescents, children, and adults all over the world. Among other extensive work with children from 2 to 18 years, I have worked with orphans in Mexico that were survivors of significant trauma and abuse and in Colombia with a group of displaced women, survivors of war. My therapeutic focus centers on the integration of the body and the mind in order to help my clients flourish.

Alyssa Zepeda is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked diligently to assist children, adults, and families in her community since 2012. She is passionate about empowering and supporting others through the use of evidence-based integrative, and creative approaches. It is extremely important for Alyssa to support clients in not only feeling safe and empowered but to also experience the therapeutic power of nurturing one’s body, mind, and soul. Alyssa also provides supervision to pre-licensed LCSWs and LPCs. She is currently contracted by SALT Wellness Group, LLC, located in Colorado.
