The pressure to immediately achieve your goals has you overwhelmed. You have a few thoughts: "I'm a failure", "I'm not enough", or "others are judging me". You try to begin the day with enthusiasm, but you soon find yourself shifting from unnatural enthusiasm, to doubt, to shame, and to restlessness. Your fatigue creates a seemingly impossible environment to think clearly or address your responsibilities. Time passes slowly; sleepless nights and seemingly meaningless relationships. Overthinking begins to steal away any calm or peacefulness. You force yourself to 'do better', but this leaves you no room for genuine happiness.

You feel discouraged, overwhelmed, and held back by difficult and painful thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences. You wear a "mask" to hide your pain from your friends and family, feeling as if you shouldn't feel the way you feel and feeling that they would not understand what you're going through if you were to open up to them. You want to be heard and seen for who you truly are. I provide a safe space for healing where you can take off your "mask" and work through your pain.

Daily changes can make the journey through life transitions difficult at times. The pathway can be impeded with barriers and obstacles that create a sense of helplessness and hopelessness. I allow the client to freely acknowledge their need for help and allow the patient to accept the responsibility to take charge and conquer their circumstances. Hi! I'm Allie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Daphne, Alabama.
