Rachel Fondren is a licensed independent clinical social worker and private independent practitioner who specializes in depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma disorders. She graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelors in Social Work and from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work. Over the years she has worked with individuals on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, ADHD, and Serious Mental Illnesses.

My goal for therapy is to provide a safe and welcoming environment so that we can work together to find the peace and joy in your life. I believe that you are the expert on your life and my role is to assist you in finding the happiest version. I have worked with persons and their families to address addictions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, establishing work life balance, boundary setting, and LGBTQ+ issues.

My greatest desire is that each of my clients learn through the process of therapy how to walk in freedom. Freedom from depression, anxiety and present and past issues. I believe that we are a product of our past but that healing begins when we explore that past and begin to write a new story, a healing narrative. It is my belief that a productive therapeuitc relationship begins by providing a safe place, free of judgement and full of grace for the process and ourselves.
