Many individuals within this population suffer with mood disorders, anxiety, school & sport performance stress, identity crisis, family conflict, and low self-esteem due to familial/societal expectations and competitive culture. As a child, teenager, or parent, managing all these life stressors can take a toll on our mental health. My hope as a therapist is to make clients feel safe to process these struggles, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and improve their social/ family connections around them.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My hope is that therapy doesn’t feel like another task or “to do” item. While there isn’t a quick “fix” my training has been in evidenced based modalities which includes many useful skills and coping tools that one can put into practice from the start of our work together. I have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of San Francisco and I have worked as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 15+ years. My experience includes working with adults, families, couples, children, and teens in private practice, schools and out patient clinical settings.

I provide a safe space for clients to speak openly and honestly, especially those who are not always seen or heard. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to set the path towards progress and growth. My multiple intersectional identities allow me to remain open and curious about each client’s unique background and needs.
