I have been a therapist for 19 years and have counseled hundreds of people dealing with the typical stresses of life and relationships, trauma, anger management, and those diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and other behavioral disorders. I bring further experience from working in behavioral health facilities, non-profit organizations, Illinois Department of Corrections, crisis intervention, and military mental health. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I specialize in adults who are interested in managing their emotions while handling stress. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling to create a therapeutic relationship with the individual, couple, or family. Therapy is trauma-informed, addressing both past and present.
I have experience working with a diverse population and believe that each person is unique and needs a specialized treatment approach.
