In my career, I have worked with many populations and have enjoyed helping empower my clients to reach their goals. Being trained to address trauma, I understand how it can impact someone’s life and understand the importance of how the experiences in someone’s life can have a lasting impact. I work with clients who feel they are out of options, feel lost, burnt out, and feel their symptoms have taken over their lives. With all of my clients, I work to instill the skills not only needed to overcome the issue they are seeking counseling for, but also how to use these skills with future problems. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual client and their needs but is always goal oriented. I have a special interest/experience in self-injury, depression, anxiety, pregnancy/postpartum issues, parenting and chronic pain/migraines with adolescents and adults.

I have experience with treating clients with a variety of diagnoses including Depression, Anxiety Disorder, Bi-polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Sexuality Issues, Transgender issues, Substance Abuse, Psychosis, Behavioral and Parenting Issues. I've worked in the Behavioral Health Unit of a local hospital for the past several years and have practiced in clinics in urban and rural areas. I have seen clients from a variety of educational backgrounds including higher education such as teachers and professors. At this time, I am seeing patients by telehealth only.
