I have been working with individuals and families in both community and mental health focused positions for over 5 years. I received my MSW from the University of Michigan and have experience working with adolescents and adults. Therapeutically, I strive to utilize holistic approaches to wellness that both align with the individual’s personality and lifestyle.

As Eckhart Tolle once mentioned, "most humans are never fully present in the now because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one, but then you miss your whole life, which is never not now." My focus is living in the present and being where your feet land, to be in the present and focus on the current. I received my master's degree Social Work from Wayne State University. I have provided mental health services to adolescents, younger adults, and seniors in psychiatric and medical health settings.

I am a board-certified therapist with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. I was clinically trained as a social worker by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System Depression Center, where I also conducted research on a variety of mental health issues.

Our founder has a Master's Degree from the number one school in clinical social work in the United States of America; the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and was clinically trained as a social worker psychotherapist by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System, where she also conducted research on a variety of mental health issues and continue to work with communities and groups of diverse backgrounds.

I have experience working with those in the criminal justice system. I also have experience working with domestic violence batterers and survivors. Those experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and anger management problems will feel comfortable sharing their experience.
