Welcome! I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Indiana and I provide ON-LINE SERVICES ONLY. I received an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis in 2003. Since then I have worked in various capacities in the mental health field in several states. It’s so rewarding to help people navigate their struggles and learn new skills to help them move through life more easily. My favorite moment in therapy is when something finally clicks for the client and all of the sudden a shift occurs. After being stuck and in so much pain there’s finally a new path that brings hope.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in working with adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and loss. I have worked in a variety of settings, including home-based therapy and outpatient therapy. I have specialized knowledge in working with adoption and trauma.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Bible and Religion from Anderson University. I completed my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. Additionally, I have post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked in residential facilities for at-risk youth, schools, prisons, churches and private practices.

Dr. Orr is a licensed psychologist and health service provider in the state of Indiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington with degrees in psychology and criminal justice. She earned her master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2010. She has presented at the Indiana Psychological Association Conference on evidence-based treatments for somatic symptom related disorders. She has specialized interest in working with adolescents, adults and elderly individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, and adjustment.

Many of the people that I see are at differing stages, transitions, struggles and journeys within their lives. Each of you have a unique set of needs and personal journey that prompted you to take this step. I have over 15 years of experience and enjoy working with children, teens and adults and provide individual and family therapy. My goal is to tailor the therapy session based on your identified goals and needs. I provide a safe, supportive, confidential and trusting environment that allows you to express, explore or gain desired insight into yourself, others or relationships or what your personal therapy journey may entail.

People come to therapy when they have unresolved issues, problems making decisions, feel their life/feelings have become overwhelming. These issues may be associated with any number of things such as; the Covid-19, relationships, employment, infertility, college, medical problems, or grief and loss. People in society today are seeking support, information, guidance, self-knowledge. Therapy can be a useful tool that can help with a range of issues.

I'm excited to work with individuals, couples, and families who are interested in discovering more about themselves and their relationships. These discoveries can be used to bring positive changes in the lives of adults, adolescents, and children who are finding new ways to manage today's issues and build strategies for a healthy future.

I am the owner of a private practice, Meaningful Transitions Counseling, located in Fishers, Indiana. I am a license therapist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults. Office hours include evenings and some weekends. I graduated from Indiana University with a Master's in Social Work in 2008. I received my License in Clinical Social Work in 2010.

I specialize in helping individuals, couples and families strengthen connection by stopping the endless cycles of negativity that disconnect them and cause hopelessness so they can identify their underlying emotions and unmet attachment needs. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults. I may also begin doing assessments for the appropriateness of spinal stimulation.

Mary Waling received her master’s degree in social work from Spalding University and her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. She has more than 10 years of experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has extensive training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She works with adults and specializes in geriatric care, focusing on trauma and adjustment. She has experience treating personality disorders, psychosis-based disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders and interpersonal problems.
