After 22 years of experience in mental health and wellness, first as a community mental health counselor and now as a psychologist, I have adopted an integrative approach to mental health, one that utilizes our tools of assessment to clearly identify your strengths, followed by the development of an individualized plan to include various modalities to help you reach your optimal potential.

I am a Professional Counselor, Family Life Educator, and a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have offices in Ohio and Michigan. My practice is dedicated to offering caring services for individuals and couples of all ages. As a counselor I work from an eclectic theoretical framework, utilizing therapeutic techniques from a variety of evidence based practices in order to help you gain control of your life. I specialize in helping women and teens who feel overwhelmed with the many demands of today's world. My clients often feel exhausted from managing expectations for themselves and feel like their efforts often fall short. They have difficulty slowing down their minds and sometimes resort to unhealthy habits, making them feel even worse. The teens I work with struggle with worry to the extent that they avoid things such as school and social situations and may experience sleep problems and panic attacks. As a parent, you may feel helpless and worried you will miss something, which can be scary. I've been there, and I'm here to help.

Hello! My name is Amy Krites, I am the founder and owner of WellSpace Therapeutics. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and have been providing therapy for individuals in some capacity for 20 years. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist who uses EMDR and other proven techniques, to help clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, chronic illness, chronic pain, medical trauma, difficult childhood experiences, attachment issues, and dissociation. EMDR based therapy for chronic pain is effective in many cases of low back pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, whiplash, irritable bowel syndrome, and sexual pain disorder. Other types of pain may respond favorably, as well. As a result of our work together you should have a clearer view of yourself, feel calmer, more positive, be able to make better life decisions, and experience improved quality of life.
