As a therapist, I created a space where you can heal and just BE. While in therapy, you will overcome trauma, manage your depression/ anxiety, walk away from self-criticism and lean towards self-compassion and self-love. While my specialties include trauma and depression, I enjoy working with millennial women of color who experience anxiety, find it hard to manage life transitions, stress, and workplace trauma. I also offer LCSW Supervision.

I primarily provide Telehealth services and limited face to face. I am a Licensed Clinical psychologist who completed clinical training at Duke University, Harvard Medical School's Victims of Violence Program and at the University of Massachusetts and UNC-Chapel Hill. I provide highly specialized treatments for traumatic stress (posttraumatic stress disorders), grief/loss, major depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I am trained in highly specialized, evidenced-based therapies that have scientific research supporting their efficacy. I have also worked extensively with veterans, students and physicians coping with burnout.

Wellness has been defined as a way of life oriented toward optimal health and well-being in which body, mind, and spirit are integrated to live more fully within the human and natural community. Ideally, it is the optimum state of health and well-being that each individual is capable of achieving. When working together in counseling, I perceive one’s thoughts are related to their feelings and reactions to events, not the events themselves. Counseling sessions are individualized to meet the unique needs of each client.

Seeking help is often the hardest part of the journey to a healthier way of living. I am here to help you through the next part. Everyone needs space to be seen fully and accepted unconditionally. It is the most humbling experience of my life to hold space for others through difficult moments.

I don't believe in practicing from a distance, I bring my real self into the room in an accessible and open way. I am wholeheartedly invested in the people I work with and believe that therapy works best when it's a collaborative process. Ultimately, you just want a therapist who gets you, and I get that.
