What all of my clients have in common is a desire to be self-reflective (even though this may be scary), to learn more about themselves at a deeper (unconscious) level, and to grow in ways that allow them to have the life and relationships for which their hearts yearn. Psychotherapy is a process of learning to listen to, care for and heal the pained parts of ourselves that burden our mind, body, heart and spirit. Including the body in this process is essential, as it carries our pain. This is not always easy, but is certainly self-empowering and life-changing.
I value diversity in all forms. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, life transitions (marriage, pregnancy, postpartum, aging/retirement), career/work, women and cancer, etc. I am also co-founder of COVIDresilience.net, a resiliency training program created to support workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Change and healing are possible at any age. You are worth it. You deserve it. And, including your body, where emotional pain is held, is critical in restoring health. I hope today is the day that you choose to invest in your own health and happiness.
