I am a Master's Student Counseling Intern currently studying Mental Health Counseling, utilizing a combination of the Cognitive Behavior model of therapy and mindfulness practices, among others, I assist adults, and teens, to find solutions to better regulate their emotions, language, belief system, and perceptions of life challenges. Specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Stress Management, Sports Performance, Transitional Periods of Life, Adjustment Disorders, Relationship Conflict, and Brief Solution Focused work.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with children, adolescents, and adult individuals with a wide range of concerns, such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Autism spectrum disorders, Oppositional defiant disorder, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and Adjustment disorders, to other concerns such as grief, loss, anger, self-esteem, and stress management. As a Licensed Behavior Specialist, I have extensive training with children and adolescents with behavioral issues. I have worked in community mental health since early 2009 so I have a lot of knowledge about this system.

At times, we encounter complex situations and emotions that are difficult to cope with on our own. I can help you to navigate these experiences. Experiencing difficult life changes? Dr. Pitkow earned her Master’s Degree and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She has a diverse background having worked with outpatient, inpatient, substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations. In addition to working in the field for close to 20 years, Dr. Pitkow brings essential life experiences to the work. Dr. Pitkow believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship established between the client and the therapist, without which very little is accomplished. To that end she aims to create a safe and warm environment where the relationship can develop.

Brandon Ballantyne is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression. He is board certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Brandon has advanced credentials in the area of treatment planning and ethical decision making. He received a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Alvernia University in 2011. He has been featured in Counseling Today for his development of CBT related therapy interventions and exercises.

How satisfying is it to pull a weed from its roots. I think about this when I am gardening. If I am unsuccessful at pulling the weed from its roots and only remove the top layer, it satisfies for a short time, my garden looks okay, but sooner or later that weed re-appears. I relate this to the cycle in many of our own personal lives. Seeking therapy can be a daunting task; lets reduce the stigma and just talk. I believe the relationship between the therapist and client is of significant importance for effective change to occur. I am humbled when client's decide to share their own "personal stories" or experiences in life with me.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and received my Master's degree in Social Work from Millersville University in 2009.  I have been providing group, individual, and family therapy for ten years and have a passion for helping people to reach their desired goals.  I utilize a strengths based approach and view therapy as a collaborative relationship in which the person is able to explore and learn more about themselves.

Jennifer Achille is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania with over 10 years of experience in supporting adolescents, adults and families with anxiety, depression, life stressors, and women’s issues. Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millersville University and received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Arcadia University. Jennifer uses an eclectic approach to support her clients in recognizing their own strengths as they navigate their journey in working towards their personal goals.
