As a spouse of a retired veteran, I have over 20 years of experience adapting to the lifestyle challenges that the military community encounters. I have helped many families successfully cope with the military lifestyle, relational struggles and raise special children.
In my career, I have facilitated groups for those suffering from addictions and illnesses; provided individual/family supportive training and counseling; to include rehabilitative services for infants/toddlers; as well as couples/family therapy through the Army using models such as Solution Focused, CognitiveBehavioral, and Emotional Focused Couple therapies.
Some of my other areas of expertise are grief/trauma and crisis counseling, career counseling, play therapy for young children and applied behavioral modification for those with special needs. My unique life experiences and professional training allow me to devise tailored treatment plans for those in need.
