Through a person-centered humanistic approach, Rudy hopes to meet people where they are at. He is honored to support those doing the hard work of facing their challenges and be a part of the healing process. He also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and strength-based therapy to help guide those seeking to connect thoughts and behaviors and encourage self-efficacy. Play therapy also informs his work with children, teens, and families.

CSTI offers low cost therapy sessions, provided by masters level mental health interns and practicum students. Every CSTI counselor is required to complete clinical hours under the supervision of licensed and experienced mental health professionals. CSTI clinical supervisors match each incoming client with the intern who is best suited to address their unique circumstances.

My company is Care Counseling Services PLLC. I was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LP/VN) for over 25 years, specializing in mental health since 2003.  I earned a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and later obtained a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. ​ My post-graduate education is grounded in the study of mental health issues and how they correlate with body issues, such as pain, and chronic or terminal diseases.  I base my practice on the belief that the wisdom for growth and healing lies within us, and the issues and difficulties we encounter are not roadblocks but directional signs and teachers.

I have a heart to help equip women and teen girls who are hurting to live a life of growth, acceptance and, ultimately, healing. My passion is to help you identify destructive behaviors and grow in self-awareness, learn healthy ways of processing and communicating, establish healthy boundaries in your personal life and in relationships, grow in self-worth, and create stability in your life. I also love working with couples who could benefit from learning new communication and relational techniques. I am an experienced Marriage and Family therapist who has worked in mental health for over 20 years. I have worked with patients who have displayed ADD, ADHD, ODD and GAD symptoms and adults who have been dealing with severe major depressive and anxiety disorders, at this time I work exclusively with adults. I have worked with psychotic behaviors and disorders, suicide and self-harming behaviors. Recently I have encountered many patients that have been severely impacted by the COVID epidemic regarding deficits in all areas of their lives.

I am so glad you are here. Beginning therapy is a brave decision, and no matter what you are going through, my priority is to create a space for you to feel supported, accepted, and safe. Trauma and addiction are my primary focus areas. Additional areas of specialty include friends and family of people with substance use disorders, grief/loss, dissociative identity disorder, anxiety/depression, sexual abuse/assault, and domestic violence. My approach is tailored to meet the needs of each individual and therapy doesn't have to take a long time to be beneficial! I'm trained in a number of therapies, but the transformational power of the healing relationship I get to develop with clients is truly the best tool I have.

Hello thank you for taking the time to read my little blurb. I have a double Masters in Counseling and Business and am currently pursuing my Doctorate. My practice focuses on offering services for individuals and couples. I have extensive experience with learning to manage anxiety, depression and managing ADHD. Many people experience barriers to a healthy lifestyle such as anxiety, issues related to their sexuality, and trauma. It is my joy to be a therapist and as such I feel that my role is to offer support and enable your own inner therapist.

Tristan works best with adolescents, children and young adults. She has experience working with issues around life adjustments, anxiety, depression. She can provide a empathetic ear to process difficult feelings, as well as a space to feel safe enough to practice new skills and coping mechanisms. Hopefully, when clients leave each session they feel a little lighter and have a new idea or two about how to approach challenging situations.
