From depression and anxiety to severe psychiatric issues, I work with clients to define plans for successful outcomes. I offer therapeutic techniques promoting creativity and out of the box thinking. I utilize a variety of psychological theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT techniques, Solution Focused, and Sex Therapy, or a combination of these. We are unique individuals, and so should be the care we offer ourselves.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths known or hidden that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Sometimes due to life events from childhood or current, can impact your story. My goal is to assist you through the process by using the strengths you already have along with evidence-based practice interventions that will allow you to continue your story making the necessary changes that will promote a better you. I am passionate about empowering individuals to navigate life's challenges with resilience, purpose, and clarity. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and humanistic traditions to tailor treatment to your unique needs and preferences. We are in challenging times, and we are all experiencing some level of discomfort in adjusting to life circumstances. However, we are also individuals, and our brains express emotions differently from one person to the next. My clinical focus is to work with balancing your mind, using the qEEG and neurofeedback, a noninvasive therapeutic intervention, as I help you create an individual treatment plan to promote healthy thinking, which will decrease your unwanted feelings. Our brains want to be balanced! This therapy creates a relaxed state of mind, almost like creating a good memory, which aids in the brain's ability to heal.

Here at Cast Away Therapy I am currently offering online sessions while working on adding Equine Assisted Therapy to my new farm in Camden, SC. We believe in helping people through therapy. Equine Assisted Therapy utilizes horses for emotional growth and learning. The modality is experiential which means participants learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses and processing their experience as it relates to them.
