About
Making the decision to seek therapy is a brave choice but finding the right therapist can feel daunting. You have to find someone willing to help hold the umbrella as you walk through all the rain life pours on you. One thing I can promise is that even after the worst storms, the sun will shine again. I’m here to help you overcome the storm. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), who graduated from McDaniel College with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. I have 7 years of experience in the mental health field through working at Sheppard Pratt.
My clinical experience includes direct practice with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including: inpatient, outpatient, residential treatment facilities, and school settings. My specialties include: anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, trauma, substance abuse, behavioral issues, autism and school adjustment.
My belief of therapy is that the therapeutic relationship is best experienced when it’s a collaborative effort from both the therapist and the client. This type of relationship will help guide the therapist and client to the best possible plan of action as it relates to coping strategies, interventions, and treatment goals. Thank you for your time.
