About
If you are dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual, physical or emotional abuse, anger management, marital and family conflict, job related stress, I am confident that in a strong therapeutic collaboration with me, your treatment goals will be met. I use a client centered approach with the understanding that for successful therapy the client needs to have active participation in developing treatment goals. I conduct a thorough bio-psycho social assessment and make every effort to understand my clients' issues from their perspectives. I am certified in EMDR for treating trauma, depresson and OCD. I am also certified in TF-CBT.
I am a highly experienced therapist who has provided mental health services for teens and adults in acute crises units as well as an outpatient clinician. I am EMDR trained, which I have used with excellent results in treating trauma. I primarily use a Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy modality for trauma and CBT for depression/anxiety.
If you are suffering from a traumatic event, depression, anxiety or PTSD, I believe that you would benefit from my services. I'm comfortable in working with clients who have suffered from acute trauma and I feel confident in treating clients who are in crisis. My expertise includes crisis intervention and management as well critical incident stress response.
