I received my Master's degree from the Boston University School of Social Work, and specialized training in addiction, couples treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy and brief therapy at the Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Hospital. My clinical expertise include addiction disorders, dual-diagnosis and couples therapy. I work with adults, preteens and adolescents with anxiety, depression, mood disturbances and trauma; and utilize evidence-based interventions including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical, motivational and psychodynamic treatments. My goal is to help people attain wellness efficiently, thoroughly and safely.
I maintain a flexible schedule including evenings in a centralized mid-town location, and am credentialed on most insurance panels. Fees include a sliding scale for students and other lower income populations. I have excellent relationships with qualified psychiatrists for medication evaluations. I also provide Emotional Support Animal Evaluations.
My work with children, preteens and adolescents focuses on diagnoses, individualized treatment plans, and counseling to address problematic behaviors, blended family issues, academic performance, LGBTQ/transition issues and ASD, as well as depression, anxiety, and trauma for youth struggling with these conditions.
