My ideal client is one who is willing and wanting to make a change in their life, I encourage talk therapy but also am an educator and a doer that will encourage clients to make changes in their life through the practice and implementing of coping skills, and learning to analyze thought patterns and patterns of behaviors to see long lasting changes and relief.
I have advanced trainings in Trauma focused approaches and neurodivergent struggle (ADHD, Autism, PTSD). I also incorporate many mindfulness and relaxation based coping strategies to help manage symptoms of emotional disturbance and stress. I encourage weekly sessions at the start of services to quickly give you some relief from symptoms.
Throughout life I have recieved counseling both good and bad from many providers, and I bring into my practice the knowledge and understanding of what it feels like to sit in the clients seat and strive to create an environment in which the counseling office is a place of trust, acceptance, and understanding, and a place for positive change.
