I have been practicing privately for the past twenty-five years treating children, adolescents and adults. Working with individuals of all ages affords me a broad view of individual development across the life span. In addition to my psychotherapy practice I am actively engaged in the training of other psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers. I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University.
I am humanistic in my orientation and work in an active, collaborative and empathic way. The therapeutic relationship is a crucial ingredient in the change process. Change is challenging but with commitment and openness, change is not only possible but a necessary component of a fully realized life.
I work with young children, adults and couples. I have helped people address relationship problems as well as depression, anxiety and self esteem difficulties. I also do neuropsychological evaluations to help children who are experiencing academic and behavioral issues at school.
